Meklit Hadero, plus connue par son prénom Meklit est une autrice, compositrice et interprète qui vit à san Francisco. Elle est née en Ethiopie et a grandi aux Etats Unis. son style musical est une combinaison de jazz, folk et ethio jazz (jazz éthiopien)
A ce jour, Weklit a publié 5 albums; "I want to sing for them all" est extrait de l'album intitulé "When The People Move The Music Moves Too" publié en juin 2017.
Un bel hommage aux artistes, nord américains ou éthiopiens, qui ont inspiré la chanteuse. Cette chanson illustre bien le titre de son album. "Quand les gens bougent, la musique bouge aussi".
